88C Benefits for Artists
8liens is a 10,001 PFP project launched in July 2022- it was a labor of love by Unstable Kido, Scalynelson, Debussy, and Punk Vandelay. It was inspired by our love for Cryptopunks as early members of that community. We launched it as a free mint with 0% royalties and retained 1000 NFTs (the same as punks) as well as retaining an additional 400 for our treasury. The project is CC0. We have had great success thus far with over 7800 Eth in total volume and a growing community of collectors, some new to the NFT space and many OG collectors of several other blue chip collections.
We are now launching the 88C (8lien 8rtist Collective) and inviting select artists to get involved with this next phase of our project. Participating artists include Des Lucrece and DALEK (more to be announced soon).
What are the benefits for artists to get involved with the 88C?
Enthusiastic and sustained support from the 8liens community and founders which will expand your network. The Founders have a combined 11 years of experience with NFTs as well as more than 100k followers on Twitter combined. We already have 16 NFT artists who did 1/1 pieces for the initial drop, including Hackatao, Alpha Centauri Kid, Bryan Brinkman, Kanati Kim, Chris (the creator of Nyan cat), Pindar Van Arman, and Gremplin to name a few.
You create the art- we take care of everything else to make it into an NFT and get it into the hands of true collectors. It would be an edition piece minted on our custom contract, the # of editions to be determined by each artist in conjunction with the 88C curation board.
